Martha Aldridge joined us last month as our Director of Development after working part-time for several months on our Share the House campaign fundraising team.

Martha spent the past ten years in wealth management as a financial advisor. Prior to that, she worked as a development director for a local nonprofit. Born and raised in Chapel Hill and educated at North Carolina State University, Martha knows many people in our community and understands the critical role of philanthropy in supporting our mission.

Martha lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys running and baking.

Our former Director of Development, Leslie Stewart, recently moved to Virginia with her family. Leslie’s husband took a new job in Richmond and Leslie will continue work in the fundraising arena at Virginia Commonwealth University.  We are forever grateful to Leslie for all she did for Family House while she was here!
