Last month under stormy skies, UNC Basketball standout Sean May hosted the 2016 Tar Heels for Family House BBQ and Golf Tournament at the Avaya Blue Zone at Kenan Stadium. UNC Cheerleaders, athletes and Rameses joined the fun. We had corn hole games and face painting for kids, music by Big Fat Gap and a wonderful meal donated by Rocky Top Catering. The live auction and giving tree were great opportunities for attendees to show their support for Family House. 

On Friday, the sky cleared and 28 teams of golfers played at UNC Finley Golf Course under a perfect Carolina blue sky. 

Net proceeds of $95,000 from the events will cover all 40 rooms at Family House for nearly a month! Thanks to our in-kind donors and our sponsors, especially Presenting Sponsor UNC Health Care and Silver Sponsors LabCorp and Triangle Implant Center, for making this fun event possible.
