Nominations for the Annual SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals Volunteer of the Year Award are officially open!  Volunteers are a critical part of the network of support for Family House guests. Volunteers cook, clean, organize, entertain, fold laundry, haul groceries, staff the front desk and more with tremendous grace, kindness and compassion.

Nominations are accepted from volunteers and staff and are kept in confidence. If you know of an individual or group who exhibits outstanding commitment to the SECU Family House community as demonstrated through their commitment of time, willingness to give extra effort to their duties and responsibilities, their compassion and care for guests, and the way they inspire and work well with others, including staff and other volunteers, please nominate them! You can download a nomination form or get one at the front desk at Family House. Email nominations describing how the nominee meets the award criteria will also be accepted.

The nomination period will be open for three weeks and will end Friday, February 24. We look forward to hearing from you!
