We're excited to announce that Georgie Tamayó Clemens will join our staff as Volunteer Services Manager on March 2, 2020. She'll report to Janice Ross, Director of House Operations and work with Aimee Jones, Volunteer Services Assistant.

Georgie will manage all aspects of our growing volunteer program with a primary focus on identifying and fulfilling volunteer needs for our expanded Family House.  We are confident that Georgie will bring new ideas and vigor to our volunteer programming and we all look forward to working with her.

A trained educator, Georgie brings many gifts to SECU Family House, including years of ministry, volunteer management, and training. Georgie comes to us from the St. Thomas More Catholic Community where she has served as Director of Youth Ministry for 20 years. Georgie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education at Iowa State University.

Georgie will be Janice McAdams’ special guest at an Afternoon Tea on Thursday, February 13.  Please plan to come meet our new and refreshing Volunteer Services Manager!
