Even before our doors were opened in 2008, Bob Woodruff was an exceptional supporter of Family House. Over the years he has demonstrated his leadership and generosity in many ways. From 2011 to 2015, Bob served on the Board, including as President for two of those years. This was during the most critical planning stages of our building expansion. He led the way not only with his management skills, but with his philanthropy by making the first pledge of the ‘Expand the House’ campaign. Subsequently, as a co-chair of the ‘Share the House” campaign, he helped orchestrate the final chapter of raising the funds needed to nearly double our capacity from 40 to 75 rooms. Bob continues to find many ways to champion our mission, including in his role with the famous ‘Woodruff Warriors’ meal team who serve our guests much-appreciated dinners for many years on a regular basis.
