Heart of the House
At the heart of Family House is the people within- thousands of patients, volunteers, staff members, and YOU! Your contributions during the “Heart of the House” campaign are what enables Family House to provide a safe, affordable, and nurturing environment for thousands of traveling UNC patients and their loved ones this year. 
Demand for our rooms is high and with the recent expansion from 40 to 75 rooms, our expenses and volunteers needed to operate have increased dramatically. The 2022-23 Heart of the House Annual Fund goal is the largest ever —$1.3 million. We need your help! Donors to the fund directly impact our more than 4,000 guests by bridging the significant financial gap that exists between what our guests can afford and our actual operating costs.
Family House guests are afforded not only lodging, but are also offered meals, supportive programs, transportation, and a caring support network. Won't you contribute today?
